ZERO PROPERTY

The Zero Property of Addition

When you add 0 to a number, the number has the same value. We call 0 the additive identity.

Example:65 + 0 = 65

As you can see the sum of 0 and 65 is 65. 65 remains unchanged by the addition of 0.

In multiplication, 0 does make a huge difference. The 0 property of mulitplication states that multiplying any number by 0 gives a product of 0.

Example:65 x 0 = 0

As you can see the value of 65 when mulitplied by 0 changes to 0.
